Le Méridien Montparnasse is close to the Luxembourg Gardens and Saint-Germain-des-Près, which was home to the existentialist movement and houses many of the cafés Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir frequented. Air France operates a shuttle service between the airport terminals to Paris city centre. The Montparnasse station stop is located just opposite the hotel. Buses depart and arrive every 30 minutes to and from Charles de Gaulle Airport (from around 7am to 9pm) and to and from Orly Airport (from around 6am to 11pm).
